We are thrilled to announce that the inaugural event will take place at the prestigious Drury Lane Theatre in Oak Brook, IL. Not only does Drury Lane boast a stellar professional theater that stages shows and concerts year-round, but it also houses ample ballrooms for our purposes. Additionally, three nearby hotels within walking distance offer discounted accommodations for out-of-town attendees of the PIANO Conference. We're proud to have Drury Lane as one of our sponsors, providing us with three expansive ballrooms for the event. One room will host performers' auditions, another will serve as a showcase for designers and technicians, while the third will function as a central gathering and holding area for all participants.
Scheduled for February 16 & 17, 2024, from 10 am to 7:30 pm, the PIANO Conference will culminate each day with personalized callbacks, enabling hiring companies to further engage with their selected candidates. Additionally, a lively open bar in the main lobby will foster networking opportunities throughout the day and evening.
Moreover, the collaboration between ITA and Accepted, an innovative online database platform, allows both attendees and hiring companies to curate comprehensive profiles according to their respective disciplines. This feature facilitates streamlined connections by enabling users to filter and search based on specific skill sets. Registrants will retain access to their Accepted profiles for a full year, empowering them to continue networking and seeking opportunities beyond the event's timeline.
The conference welcomes aspiring theater professionals, including college students seeking summer employment and seasoned industry experts in search of year-round engagements. The registration fee is $35 for ITA members and $75 for non-members, while hiring companies can attend free of charge.
